First Hole of the YEAR

Well just like that golf season is here! This blog post is more for fun, but also a nice reminder to value our time on the course, and make the most out of it. At least if golf important to you. I'm assuming because you're here, golf is pretty damn important!

Now it's 2019 - Tiger just won the Masters. What a great story in perseverance. Regardless of his past, the man has flat out went back to work on his game. It goes to show how humbling and rewarding our sport can be.

As you roll into your 2019 season, I want you to think about a couple things. What does 2019 golf season mean to you? Is it just for fun? Do you want to lower your scores? Maybe travel somewhere new for golf this year? Anyway, I'm not telling you what it should be. I want you to EMBRACE whatever it is. If golf is your excuse to go have fun outdoors with your family, EMBRACE that. If golf is your competitive outlet, EMBRACE that. Maybe you're not sure what golf is yet, and that's okay too. With all of today's modern technology we have sooo many distractions that can pull us away from our priorities. I want you to take your time on the golf course, BE PRESENT, and use it for whatever golf is to YOU.

For me, golf is now my outlet to help people. It's my career and such a great way to connect with people and help them with a sport they're passionate about. I don't have competitive playing ambitions, but I do have competitive COACHING ambitions. I want to learn and offer platforms that help golfers SMASH their learning curve. I want to be the coach that isn't associated with "quick fix tips". I want to deliver on skill building, lasting improvement. I don't want you to RENT your swing. I want you to OWN your swing. That's my jam.

Anyway I wanted to take a minute to reach all of you. 2019 is here folks. Let's make the most out of it!!
